Gil, What a terrible loss! You were truly a special person and a great officer. I still remember cutting your hair and when I saw you at work, you would tell the other officers, "Ms. Martinez used to cut my hair, when I had hair!" Nohema and the Cortez family!...I was so saddened to hear of Gilberts passing! He was such a nice boy when he was little,...and an even nicer young man!....I was pleased when I heard he had chosen Nohema for his wife, she is one of the nicest people I met at Mevyns! Just want you to know you are all in our thoughts and prayers  Love Ann and Dave Smith (your old neighbors)

Gilbert it is our belief that God puts certain people like you into our lives for a reason and you are that person. You & Nohema opened your hearts & home to us. You were a great husband and father. Mr Babbitt and I will miss you and we are better individuals for knowing you.
