Gina on our adventure to Monterey back in October 2000. 

It was the first of many trips all over the US she and I would take.

I also knew Gina from WoW (World of Warcraft.)

I went by Niandu and am the sister of Haedraline. Haedraline was the one who introduced me to Tyvek (Gina Rene)  on that game and we had some amazing memories. Tyvek ran one of the greatest communities that I was proud to be part of. They had one of the friendliest guilds and were well loved 
by everyone. 

I'm saddened about what happened and regret not knowing about it sooner as I tried to get in touch with them earlier this year and didn't know about what happened.

I first met Gina through World of Warcraft. I was a silly Pandaren Shaman named Haedraline (or "Hae" for short) coming back to Mists of Pandaria after being absent during the later half of Cataclysm. I was welcomed into a Troll themed guild on the realm Wyrmrest Accord led by Gina or "Tyvek" as I knew her. I became quick friends with her and the rest of the guild, and eventually became an officer of the guild.

I have a lot of fond memories with Tyvek, whether it was discussing lore and character stories, running through legacy raids for transmog items, participating in RP events together or just hanging out under the "troll tree" as we came to know it just outside the Wyvern's Tail inn in Orgrimmar. Tyvek was always pleasant, good natured, and a creative storyteller.

I recently started playing WoW again with the release of the new expansion, so I was inactive when Gina died and didn't find out about her passing until very recently. Gina was not just a good guild master, she was also my best friend in WoW and she will very much be missed.

To the family of Gina Gregory. I am so sorry for this terrible loss to so many people. After spending time with Gina this past Veterans Day I come to realize what a lovely human being she turned out to be. She was the flower girl at my wedding 37 years ago and I will never forget her she was like a niece to me when she was a little girl. I will miss seeing her on FB. When I first met Gina in World of Warcraft, she was already a practical celebrity. Her characters, her favorite trolls, were some of the most well-known names on the server. I was almost afraid to approach her as she seemed out of my league, per se. I ended up complimenting her transmog, her character's armor design, and she complimented mine back. We got to discussing various appearances and became fast friends. It feels like I'll see her characters relaxing on her post or under her tree every time I fly by, swooping in to give her a quick /hug before taking off. In her memory, a large number of us have decided to rename the area she sat under. Instead of being known as Tree Hill, we've started calling it Ty's Tree, in honor of her character Ty'vek. A memorial was held for her in-game and, by my count, included nearly 100 players. World of Warcraft was a big part of her life, and Gina was a big part of our lives here on Wyrmrest Accord. She was the face of our server and a prime example of a fantastic writer, a wonderful person and an amazing friend. 

Gina Gina Gina... what a legacy you have left behind. Although I did not know you for long, you were the one who initiated me into Crown Coach Junkies... the place where I finally found my people. Thank you. I will never forget meeting you and Eric at the PBM Open House last year and jumping in that Crown with you behind the wheel. Rock on, Buslady.
