Harvey Griffith Long

Also known as “Gramps.” Born October 4, 1937, in Denver, Colorado. Passed away January 30, 2017, at his home in Riverside, California.Celebration of Life Services at Acheson and Graham Garden of Prayer at 2:30 on Sunday, February 12, 2017, in Riverside. He joined Sandee, his wife of 45 years, in Heaven on her eternal anniversary.Also preceded in death by parents Garland Nelson Long and Barbara Owens Long and sister Shirley Morgan.

He was the first member of his family to graduate college. He worked as a pharmacist for over 30 years. He was involved in the Lions Club, Raincross Square dancing, committed volunteer at Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center, an avid bicyclist, loved photography, and was a long time camper.

He is survived by children Kristi Cooper and Beth and Rick Zoco. His grandchildren are Craig and Kate Zoco, Erin Zoco and Gary Stein, Kellie and Mikey Diaz, Sarah Cooper and Jake Steele, Emily Cooper and Alex Merryman, Christopher and Carly Cooper, and Moreno. Surviving siblings are John and Shonnie Long, Myra and Kent Nicklas, and Mark and Barb Sherman.
