Hazel, my long time friend, I am heartbroken to learn you have passed from this life but am so grateful you, Robbie, Bonnie, and I were able to reconnect with each other and share lunch about 4 years ago.  I will never forget our childhood and visiting you at Kings Ranch above Valley Wells those many years ago. I was telling my son not long ago about your “playhouse” (which was an actual house from the stagecoach stop below the ranch at one time) and the old buckboard beside the house that we would sit on and pretend to drive.  You had such a good memory.  I remember our conversation after we last met when you called and reminded me I was “Morningstar” and you were “Eveningstar”  - the Indian names we gave ourselves during our many pretend adventures so long ago.  Goodbye Eveningstar - I will never forget you!
