Helen Diane Lapper was born November 20th, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland. She passed away at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, California on May 21st, 2020. She was the only child of Alexander Pestke and Gertrude Cohen.
Helena lived in Baltimore, Maryland prior to moving to California where she began and operated Yoshi’s Kennel Club where she raised AKC Champion Lhasa Apso’s. She was an advocate for rescuing and saving animals. Helena later became President CEO of her own company Hydroseal Polymers Inc. in Riverside, California for 27 years. She sold her company so that she could retire.
Helena was married and widowed to 3 husbands, Emil Werner, Donald Gadd and then Heinz Lapper who she spent 33 years with.
Preceded in death besides her parents is her oldest son Allen Werner and 2 grandsons Brian and Ryan.
Helena is survived by Darryl Werner from San Juan Capistrano, CA. David Gadd & daughter in law Vicki from Riverside Ca. and 2 grandsons Jordan and Justin. She is also survived by granddaughter Heather and her husband Adam and great grandsons Shane and Austin.
