James Scott Drury better known as Scott or Coach….

Was born on July 31st, 1965 to Bill and Fran Drury. He was born and raised in Reseda Ca. and graduated in 1983 from Reseda High School. He attended College of the Canyons from 1984 to 1986, then to Texas Tech, where he played baseball and made lifelong friends. From college he would go on to play minor league baseball for the Philadelphia Phillies/Batavia Clippers. In 1992 he met his wife Kimberlee, and they were married in 1994. Scott held many jobs but the most rewarding would be Berg Electric where he completed his apprenticeship and became a journeyman electrician, as well as being a deputy sheriff for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. In 2010 Scott graduated from Long Beach State with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Studies – Vocational Arts.

Scott’s favorite title would be Dad and coach. Scott coached baseball at Norco Little League, Jurupa Hills High School, X-Factor Baseball and Softball Academy, CBA and Norco High School. He coached softball at Norco Girls Softball, Valor, and Bat buster Case. He also coached football through junior All-American football and soccer through AYSO in Norco. He loved to coach and mentor young athletes. His favorite coaching job by far was coaching his three (3) children, Justin, Ashlee and Kylee. He taught them soccer, football, baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball, and modeling. He loved his family and was always proud of them.

On October 6, 2020 God called upon him to come to Heaven.

Scott is survived by his Wife, Kimberlee, his son Justin and twin daughters Ashlee and Kylee.
