James Michael Harnett

It is with great sorrow to share the passing of James Michael Harnett (Jim) on June 16, 2025. He was 70 years old. He passed away at Kindred Hospital in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Jim was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on October 8, 1954, with his twin brother John Patrick Harnett (Jack). The two were inseparable. Jim attended John W. North High School and Abraham Lincoln High School in Riverside. He worked in the construction industry for many years and held many positions. He was a master at his craft. Jim was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Jim was preceded in death by both parents Charles and Elfreda Harnett, his sister Kathleen Daniel, and brothers Charles Jr. and John P. (Jack). He is survived by his loving wife Leah, daughters Kelly (John) and Jamie (Johnny) 4 grandchildren, brothers Joseph Harnett and Michael Harnett, sister Patricia Yegge and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends.

Services will be held at Acheson and Graham Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, CA. The viewing will be held Wednesday, July 16th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 17th at 10:00am. Burial will be after the service at Olivewood Memorial Park, 3300 Central Ave., Riverside, CA. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
