Age 85 of Riverside, CA passed away on 6/9/10. Janet was born in Donnellson, IA on 7/21/24. She graduated from the nursing program at Burlington Protestant Hospital in Burlington, IA in 1945; met her future husband, Ralph Morris in Chicago; and later earned a Masters and taught nursing at several colleges. She enjoyed travel, reading, cooking and gardening. She deeply loved and supported her family and friends. We will miss her generous and kind spirit. Janet is preceded in death by Ralph, her husband of 64 years, and infant son, Steven, and survived by her sisters Margueriette Johnson and Nedra Adkins, both of Iowa, children Diana, Christopher, and Robin, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is set for 11 am Thurs, 6/17/10 at Acheson & Graham, 7944 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, followed by a memorial lunch at the home of Robin and Cynthia Morris.
