Janet Marie White of Corona, CA passed away on January 1, 2021. She was born January 2, 1940 in St. Charles, MO. She is preceded by her son, Jeffrey White who passed away at the age of 16 in 1988, and her loving husband of over 50 years, Robert White who passed away in 2008; three brothers, Lloyd Warren, James Dale Warren and Junior Warren. She is survived by her three children, daughter, Sheryl Dreiling of Corona, CA, daughter, Rhonda Sheldon of Norco, CA and son, Bob White, Jr., Corona, CA. She is also survived by eight granddaughters and one grandson, Allie Marion, Catherine Dreiling, Nicole Vejar, Jennifer Burton, Ashley White, Samantha White, Elizabeth White, Greysen White and Cory Burton; ten great grandchildren; two great great- grandchildren; and many other beloved nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Janet grew up in rural areas across the Mid and Southwest, and often joked her life mirrored that of the Beverly Hillbillies. She married Robert (“Bob”) White after a brief courtship of only two weeks and remained married until his passing shortly after their 50th wedding anniversary. Janet was devoted to her family and friends and enjoyed entertaining, traveling, and playing blackjack with her signature cocktail, CC press. In her younger years she enjoyed singing and playing the guitar with her mother and brother James. No party was complete without hearing her version of “Crazy” by Patsy Cline. Janet moved to Corona in 1980 after her husband Bob White decided to move his business, Janda Company, Inc. a resistance welding equipment manufacturer from Anaheim to Corona. Janet was active in the family business, and was a licensed real estate broker, but her favorite job was being “mom” and “grandmother darling” to her loved ones. She will be missed deeply by her family, but we find comfort in knowing she is finally at peace with her honey Bob, and youngest child Jeffrey.
Graveside services will be on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 3:00 pm., at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park, 11500 Arlington Ave., Riverside, CA 92505. Following the service will be a celebration of her life at Rhonda Sheldon’s home in Norco, CA.
