We can't begin to express the pain that we are in,

We lost a part of us and that hurts us deep within,

you said goodbye before we ever got the chance to say hello,

you were gone in a flash leaving tears mixed with love and sorrow,

We don't know if you chose your path or it was chosen for you,

but we are glad we were on your journey before you got your wings and flew,

you're our angel now watching over us from above,

Our inspiration for life and our teacher of the meaning of love,

in 22 weeks you taught us more than we even thought we could know,

how could something so small have so much courage to show,

you taught us that we need to stay strong and never give up,

that it don't matter if it is half empty or full just enjoy the cup,

it's funny how someone that was only here for such a little while,

can be remembered with every kick, heartbeat and tear,

the pain we have in our chest does not make us feel sad,

it's just the battle wound we have for being an Angel's Mom and Dad!

With great pain and sorrow, we are sad to announce the short life of our baby, Javier Alfredo. He came and went in an instant on February 24th, 2017, taking with him a lifetime of hopes and dreams we had for him. We will hold him in our hearts forever. - Javier and Karla
