Jesse Heredia Tadeo was born on February 26, 1983, and was a native to Corona for all of his life. To describe Jesse in words is to almost do the impossible. An amazing man of God, he was quite simply an individual who was loved and adored by many. The memories of him that each of us holds are unique, and it is through those particular memories that Jesse’s spirit lives on. His battle with diabetes and the complications that arose with his kidney’s caused him a great deal of distress; however, as time began to show us, Jesse was a fighter. He would not let his disease and health issues define who he was, which made him a noble individual. The love that everyone had for him made him that much stronger. He was not only fighting for himself, but he was fighting for the ones he loved and cherished. His selfless nature manifested itself in his love for spending time with his family. Up until his last days on this earth, his family stood by his side, as much as was possible, and reassured him that they were in this together. This unexpected loss comes to us at an unprecedented time, which makes this situation even more difficult. Though the time we had with him was cut short, we must grieve and remember the precious time that we had with him. The heartache that we are experiencing is unmatched, but we must also remind ourselves that Jesse is no longer suffering and in pain. Not only must we grieve, but we must also rejoice and celebrate the beautiful life that he led, which is what he would have wanted. Jesse was always one to give wonderful Godly advice and always reminded us to rely on our faith. Although he is no longer here with us, we must maintain our faith and remind ourselves that he is in a better place. He lives on in us in a very special place... in our hearts. We must always remember to never forget Jesse until we are one day reunited with him once again.
