JILL ANN SMITH 60, passed away at home on July 28, 2011 in Jurupa Valley, CA. Jill was born on September 21, 1950 in South Gate and was a resident of Jurupa Valley for 31 years. She was an Administrative Assistant for 4 years for the County of Riverside. She graduated from Bell Gardens High in 1968. Jill was a member of the Irish Setter Club of So. Cal. for 30 years. She was the rescue coordinator for 10 years and was responsible for rescuing over 100 Irish Setters. She was also an Irish Setter breeder and bred 17 Irish Setters, 3 of which became AKC champion show dogs and 3 were international champions. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Vincent L. Smith. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Irish Setter Rescue or the animal rescue of your choice in her name.
