From teaching me English, to using a laundry machine, to cooking , to crocheting, to .... to being a woman and a mother.... As a great teacher, you took my hand, opened my mind and touched my heart. I thank you.

I love you, Mom

I remember the summer I was going into 10th grade our family took a trip around the United States. We went to Florida to visit my Dad's two sisters and families.
One day my sister Lana, our cousin Jan and I decided to make a cassette tape to send to Mimi in Europe. We sang, "He Can Turn the Tides and Calm the Angry Seas plus a few other's. To this day I love and remember the words and how happy we were making it.
Now both Jan and Mimi are singing this song in Heaven to all our other family members.
I will miss you my dear cousin.
Rest in peace and give my husband a big hug!
Love,
Lisa Shelton Isley

We were teenagers in Florida and the last thing we cared about was sitting around talking with the grownups. We spent our pre-Thanksgiving time at McDonalds on the Ft Lauderdale beach before heading home to Thanksgiving dinner. Pre-holiday dinners became a ritual for us. Float on the breezes wherever they take you Jo.
