I love John. He was one of the last of the great old school trainers. Great friend. He knew my other trainers who had passed and took me on. He got me back into it after decades out. I love him. Always will. I miss him. I ride for him, Jimmy Kohn and Bill Herring...every time I hop in the saddle. Part of my heart is gone with them. 

To All of Johns family,my heart is saddened for your lost,I will always have John is my thoughts and the family in my prayers.We met in San Antonio tx in 1963 at the United States Modern pentathlon Fort Sam Houston and John was on the riding team,he had a great in site for some people and I was one.I have so much to thank him always for being my friend till the last,I Truly loved his and will always keep him in my heart.Be Blessed and be strong.Judy Green.

I first met Mr. Lipari in 1971. I had made the transition from show hunters  three day eventing, and I don't think he knew what to do with me, though he was always respectful and helpful. I felt honored when I was able to take a few jumping lessons from him. He was a positive influence on many people and I feel that he will live on through his students and their students as well.
