He was born August 28, 1940 in Santa Barbara, California to John and Maria Theresia Waldbauer Lehndorfer. He married Linda Dee Westover on July 19, 1968 in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Los Angeles, CA Temple.
He graduated from Polytechnic High School in Riverside, CA. He served as a missionary in Bavaria, Germany for 2 ½ yrs. He received his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He supported his family by working as an aerospace engineer.
He is survived by his loving wife Linda, his five children, Karla (Terry) Spurrier, Laura (Gary) Waldvogel, Natalyn (Darryl) Shumway, Warren (Victoria) Lehndorfer, Wayne (Darlein) Lehndorfer and 19 grandchildren.
