Just learned that Kathy has passed and want to extend my sympathy to her family and friends. She was my insurance agent for almost 20 years and I will miss her expertise and her advice. She was a true gem!

Kathi, I can't believe that you are gone and in heaven with Ed and your Mom, Dad and grandparents.  I will always remember the fun times we had together..you were like the sister I never had.  I will always cherish the fun times we had when the guys were working and you came over to hang out with me and my boys, Mike and Paul.  You were their "second mom" and their "fun sister"..teaching them little things that I had to yell at you for i.e. showing them how to pull their gum into long strings out of their mouths. They also will remember the times, even in snow storms, that we headed out shopping in your big Lincoln Continental car with Diana Ross blaring on the stereo and Mike in the backseat getting a headache!!  They will never forget that. I'm so grateful that you accepted my family into yours and how we all hung out together sharing holidays and cookouts throughout the years.  I'm only sorry that you moved away and we lost touch over the years.  I am SO glad I reached out to you a couple of years ago and we had a nice telephone chat.  I guess we should never let so much time go by without contact. Reading all the great notes from your friends in California shows what a nice person you were and how everyone adored you and your spirit.  I laughed and cried at Renee and Steven's comments because I remember them so well and I can hear you telling them all the things they mentioned.  Thanks for the great memories.  Jessica, I only knew you when you were a small child and then got to meet you as a teenager when your Dad brought you to my office to meet me.  You grew to be a lovely woman from the cute girl you were.  Know that you and your family are in my heart and prayers and that I will miss your Mom very much!

Or I should say Mom.  Thank you so much for stepping into my life after my mom died and raising me.   Thank you for your countless hours of watching you apply make up and do hair and making sure you looked just right before we went out.  I will always cherish our laughs and when I crashed your car into the neighbors and you were so mad and we had to go apologize and I was laughing so hard I started to cry and you were so mad and all these years everytime we mentioned it we laughed til tears ran down.  So many memories and I will miss you on Sundays   Unless you feel the need to show up at 1130.  Ha ha.  Well love say hello to uncle Ed who has been waiting patiently for his bride.  And please tell my mom hello and you can fill her in on a most wonderful life you have given me.  Steve and I will always remember going to Nate Perry school when the other kids would follow us around because you packed us enuf lunch for the whole school.  I know I know in case we got hungry.   Lol. You are at peace and I know you will keep on laughing with me everyday.  I kinda feel like the peanut butter without the jelly but you will be in my heart everyday.  I love you Renee.

I love you so very much!!! I have always been and will always be proud to call you my aunt.  As I became an adult, I realized how amazingly uncommon your strength and character were.  You always did what was right by Renee' and I no matter what the cost and no matter who it offended. I know my mother was very proud of you. Our lives have nearly come full circle and will be complete when we are all united together in heaven with our Lord. I know that Uncle Eddie has missed you dearly and was there to welcome you. I will miss how much you always made me laugh and I will always have my memories.  Laughing :), from painting your brand new white couch, to Uncle Nicky singing to me to teach me to count and dinner together at Aunt Kate's. To you making me sit at the table until I ate all my food, that special way you said my name when I pushed you to your limits and for never yelling at me for breaking my watch because I didn't want to be home on time. You simply bought me a new one...laughing! Your and Uncle Eddie's love never waned no matter how far apart we were or how old I grew. You never hesitated to help me in life, even when I was a college kid you were still helping me and paying for my books, which actually forced me to read them! Smiling.  Aunt Kath, I will miss you soooo very much. You have always been, and will always be, one of the most significant people that has ever touched my life. Kathi, you were one of the most generous and fun loving people I knew. I have so many wonderful memories of you...will never forget our crazy NYC weekends where we laughed pretty much the whole time. You will be dearly missed. Much Love.

We were saddened to read of Kathy's death and our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. I was so grateful to have been reunited with her in 2012, we hugged and talked of days of old. I feel fortunate to have been part of her life. Rest in peace Kathy until we all meet again. In time, the dark clouds will pass leaving only the fond memories.

I only met you one time when you came down to visit Jessica. You and your husband were very kind people. I know this because you both raised such a wonderful daughter. Jessica always talked about you guys and was very proud to have you in her life. I know you will be truly missed so much for friends and family but most of all from your daughter. All I ask is that you, God and Jessica's dad watch over her and heal her heart. May peace be with all the hurting hearts now that your gone. We will remember your life and be wearing your favorite color pink on Monday while your body is laid down to rest and your soal is forever in the presents of God.

I still remember the days of Aunt Kathi and Uncle Ed and being in out in the back yard in the pool and singing for them, then there was the white couch and the white christmas tree, so many wonderful memories, now they are both together in  God's company.  Jess as I told you before, they will always be with you in your heart as long as you remember them.  They loved you very much.  My family's love and prayers are with you and your family during this trying time and with God's Love you will get through this.

Kathi...none of this seems real...I keep thinking your going to walk in the door to share your latest news! You will be so missed by the whole Dean family...until we meet again.....rest in peace my friend...

Kathy, you were such a funny and wonderful lady.  You raised a strong daughter and she will carry on all of your memories to her children.  You are now in a better place and are with your love again.  You will be missed dearly.

Kathi, None of this seems real. Im so grateful I had my last day with you; prior to your leaving for heaven. Yes heaven, you are finally at peace my dear! You shall forever be missed, as you touched so many lives with your huge heart. My only regret is the fact we did not have much time together this last year as we had in the past. Your little gifts at my front door will be greatly missed with the beautiful cards and your larger than life handwriting.  Enjoy your new life my friend until we meet again.
