Beautiful woman inside and out!  She lived for her family, her kids, their friends and her grand children.  She would light up any time she spoke of them.  She will be missed by all.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of such an amazing woman.  As a kid, the revolving door to her home was a sanctuary for me.  Her home was my childhood culture, something I could count on and essentially created the foundation for the woman/mother that I have become.  The Castle View crew she adopted was treated like her own.  Thank you Brett and Brooke for sharing her with us...we all needed her for different reasons at that time in our lives.  That laugh...I will always remember that laugh...Much love to you and your respective families at this time.

Kathy it was always such a delight to be around you. With such an easy, fun way about you we've been left with so many wonderful memories. You will be missed more than you ever could have imagined. Love you!

I just can't yet, wrap my head around the fact that there will no longer be Kathy's house gatherings. You are such an amazing woman with the most contagious smile & laugh. You always made us kids feel so welcome in your home! I always loved you & thought you were such a fun & cool mom, but after having my own kids, I realize even more how special you are because as a mom it's easy to love your own kids, but you loved every kid that came in your home or squeezed in to your car and that dear Kathy is rare! You are so special and will definitely be missed, yet never ever forgotten! Heaven has to be much more fun since you arrived!!!!

Kathy was most of the amazing mothers I ever met!  From 4th grade until maddy was born u always made me feel like family.  I will never forget introducing Brett n tiff and you living tiff from that moment on!  You treated all of us kids as your own and that will never be forgotten!  I love you so much!!!!!

It's hard to believe that this quiet, gentle force is no longer with us.  Her gift to us all was how much she cared for this life and for everyone in it, especially her kids, her grandkids, her sisters, her extended family, and her friends.  I will never be able to express my profound gratitude in how she cared for and loved my daughter Kara.  Our Bunco group will never be the same and we will try to forge ahead and find our laughter from another source.  Because, Kathy made us laugh; she made us laugh forever. Go in peace, Kathy.  We are all a little better for having had you in our lives.
