Kenneth John Ng, age 58, died Sunday, January 29, 2012 at his home in Riverside, CA from ALS. He was born on September 21, 1953 in Stockton, CA and moved to Riverside in 1965. Ken graduated from Norte Vista HS in 1971 and received his BA degree from Long Beach State. He was employed as a sporting goods salesman for many years, most recently with Big Rock Sports. Ken was an avid gardener, loved Las Vegas, and was especially active in outdoor sports including fishing, abalone diving, and hunting.
Ken was preceded in death by his father, John and his sister, Judy. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, of Riverside; mother, Lola, of Simi Valley; brother, Jeff, of Yucaipa; sisters Kathy (Keith) Watrous and Jennifer (John) D’Atri, both of Simi Valley, and 16 nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 1 p.m. at Pierce Bros. Crestlawn Mortuary, 11500 Arlington Ave., Riverside. The family invites you to wear Aloha (Hawaiian) attire to honor Ken. Family requests donations be made in Ken’s memory to the ALS Association at ALSA.org.
