I met Thumper in 05 when he would drive past my house on Crowell in the K5. He would wave every time, I just moved my girlfriend and her kids in and you stopped to introduce yourself and Matt Matt to me and Ravi. From that day on, your family has been my family. Matt and Ravi are truly brothers and I felt like you were my brother as well. You had the biggest heart (and Head) I've ever seen. I will forever love you and will miss you everyday.

The first time I met Thumper it was at Rainey Jr. High, my first day as a 7th grader. He was a man amongst boys. I remember thinking I was lucky cause Thumper was friends with my brother and sister and he would always smile at me when I walked by. I think Thumper even drove himself to school back then. He was in 9th grade. Over the years I was fortunate enough to call Thumper my friend. He always had that warm smile and always wanted to catch up on life every time we would bump into each other. Cheers to you Thumper 🍻

One time Josh, Dean , Steven, chaz, and I got stuck up in la Sierra hill in a rain storm, it was gotting late and we couldn't get the car out. Dean's father came out to help and got stuck as well, few hours pass and we see head light coming over a hill in the distance, it was Thumper and I big bogged out truck. Needless to say he ripped all of us out and saved the day/ night. Thank you Thumper.

I’ve known Thumper since I was 9 years old. We were friends and hung out all the time. Thumper was a good person and friend. His family always welcomed me to their home.
I learned a lot about punk rock and remember hanging out at California Skate. I remember Thumper and Sandy having Jake and holding Jake for the first time. We shared a lot of fun times anywhere we were at. I have so much respect for Thumper and forever miss my friend. I love you brother. Thanks for always being there and your friendship.

Thumper was our cool cousin from the city. We would see him on most Schultz Christmas’s. I remember him fondly as a teenager with his long blonde wavy hair, jeans and an off white V neck shirt with collar. His look was completed with a pooka shell necklace. Hey, this was the early 80’s and he was IN. One Christmas he gifted my sister Kim and I a Radio Shack cassette tape he had recorded just for us. It was JOURNEY. This country girl had just been introduced to one of the greatest bands of all time at the age of 9. Needless to say, my sister and I wore that tape out, memorizing every word. I’m sure your kind soul and loving heart is shining up in heaven. Please send my love to your Stepdad Rod (also my cousin) and your Uncle Harley (my Dad). Bet it’s one awesome party! Until we meet again...
Your cousin,
Hailee Schultz MacGray
