Lanna, you have had one heck of a year. You are one amazing lady, and I have watched you handle these tough times with such dignity and grace. May you and the rest of the Acrey family have a blessed year to come.

I am sad today, knowing that Lil is no longer with us. I was the Production Manager at the WSJ in Riverside for a couple years and she was my secretary . . . no, she was more than that. She was my very best friend. And not just a friend to me but to my family. We moved to CA when we had two little girls, and Lil took my family into her heart. Almost every Sunday she would have us over to swim in her pool.
She was a good soul, and supported me even after I left the Journal, helping me with a loan to get my business started in Redlands. I have had her in my thoughts often over the last 30 years.
If any of her family would like to contact me, I'd like to be filled in on her years since we've been apart.

Lil was simply a lovely person, loved by my entire family. Please know the Doyle Boys would have been at the service today but for the current emergency involving Greg's daughter--We will be there in our hearts. Prayers of comfort for the entire Acrey family. God Bless you all. Lil is most certainly with Him.

I am so sorry to hear about Lil's passing. I was one of the Dow Jones Riverside plant managers Lil supported during her career with the company. She was extremely helpful to me as a young manager, and I always held her in high regard. My condolences to her family. May she rest in peace.
