I think of Lorra quite often, I went through junior and high school with her, still thinking of her after all these years.

I think of Lorra often, she and I went to school together since junior high, fond memories, she is truly missed, we will be honoring her and others who have passed away who were in our Paramount High School (CA) graduating class of 1964, at our 50th class reunion Sept. 20th, 2014, including Jim (Burkett) who I also had the honor of knowing since junior high.

Thinking of lovely Lorra today and looked through her photos once more.

Aunt Junie you were my 2nd mother I could always come to with anything. I love and miss you so much!!!

My sincere sympathy to Steve Soderburg, the Burkett family, and Schermerhorn family in this tremendous loss. I was blessed to have Lorra as my mother-in-law for the past couple of years and although I didn't get to spend her best days with her, I will forever cherish the time we had together - cooking, shopping, sharing family stories as we went from appt. to appt. in trying to fight her illness. I will miss her motherly advice & support, her beautiful smile & spirit & even her utter stubborness. I will love her always and be forever grateful for the wonderful son she raised that I am fortunate to call my husband and for the wonderful family I am so happy to embrace as my own. With love always....

I knew Lorra and Jim Burkett throuhout my school years. After high school I would run in to Lorra at a 5 and dime store that she worked at in the city Paramount.God Bless Lorra she will be missed
