Lorraine and Earl moved to California in 1960, and they started their family soon after. She devoted her time to raising their three children and eventually went to work for the County of Riverside. Her passion was not her work but her crafts. She was an excellent seamstress and loved to design her own patterns. Knitting, crocheting, embroidery and baking were also favorite pastimes of hers.
She learned Bible truths from her mother at a young age, and she and Earl shared them with their children.
Lorraine was survived by her husband Earl, son Rick and daughter-in-law Kellie, daughter Sandra and son-in-law John, grandchildren Tara, Mary, Kailey, Iain and D’lainey, great grandchildren Dylan, Layla and June as well as her sister Florence.
Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness.”
Isaiah 41:10
