I had the joyous honor of knowing Lydia from 4 yrs old through high school since Felicia and I were best friends. I spent a lot of time with the family. Countless sleepovers and trips to movies. Lydia was such a funny person. Outspoken and loving. She always made me feel apart of the family and never held back when she saw we weren't acting right. I have so many fond memories of the time I spent with the Fonseca/ Gonzalez family. I remember Lydia wearing braces and telling me "mija if you ever wear braces, make sure you wear you're retainer cause you don't want to be in your thirties wearing braces for 12 years!" Lol. I did though and always thought of her. My sincerest condolences to the entire family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I have known my Aunt Lydia for my entire life, and to say it was a pleasure would be an understatement. She was a beautiful, strong, caring, and confident woman. I will always cherish the time we spent together. Every time I saw her, she always asked how I was doing. She truly cared about my well-being, and took the time to listen to me as I explained what was going in school, or what sport I was playing, or just what I was up to. I will remember the memories, but the one that I will treasure the most is how she was always honest to everyone. She always had a way of telling people what they needed to hear, and not what they wanted to hear. The funny thing is that she was usually right. Thank you Aunt Lydia for being that shining bright light in our life and always having a warm smile. You will be missed! Rest In Paradise.

To Uncle Bobby, Greg, Felicia, and Allison,
I send my thoughts and prayers to you during this difficult time, and may your memories of Aunt Lydia help console you. Please remember, she is in the arms of our Heavenly Father, and even though she will be dearly missed, find comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain and watching over you.
