Magdalena Noemi Gonzalez

It is with the assurance of God‘s promise that Magdalena, Noemi, Gonzalez “Nena”, our beloved mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, cousin, niece, aunt, mother-in-law, and friend, has moved on to a place prepared for her in heaven after having passed on June 7, 2026.

Nena was born in June of 1939 in El Paso, Texas and passed just short her 87th year in her birth month in Riverside, California. Nena was very popular while growing up and throughout school because of her cheerful, radiant spirit. She met her future husband, Carlos Gonzalez, Jr. in 1958 and they wed in 1959. Together, they started their family in 1960, and moved to Riverside in 1964, where they raised their children, Kathy, Charlie, Patsy and Robert. Nena was a favorite to many, but her favor was reserved foremost for Carlos and her children, who she loved, nurtured and cared for with all of her heart. As the years passed, her favor grew and extended down to her youngest great grandchild. Her radiance also extended beyond her family and she was known by everyone for her loving kindness, generosity and endless energy. Nena is pre deceased by her husband of 42 years, Carlos, who passed in late 2001 and her youngest child, Kathy, in early 2015. She is survived by her three children, 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and her brother, Jerry. The world is definitely a better place because of people like Nena.

Funeral services for Nena will commence on July 9th, starting at 8AM at Pierce Brothers Memorial Park and Mortuary, located at 11500 Arlington Ave. Riverside CA 92505
