Maleah “Lee” Hagel was born in Fly, Ohio on July 17, 1922, and died peacefully with loving family surrounding her on March 22, 2011 in Riverside, CA. at the age of 88. Maleah was the beloved wife of Marvin Hagel for 53 years. She was the loving mother of daughters Debra Hagel-Wollman (Mark) and Susan Hagel.
She was preceded in death by her sisters Lucille Klos, Eleanor Solomon and brother Edward Solomon. She is survived by sisters Rosemary Mullen and Betty Anderson of Riverside, and brother William Solomon of Ohio. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews and wonderful friends.
The family wishes to thank the compassionate and devoted caregivers and staff of Raincross Memory Care in Riverside. This was her home away from home the last several months and they became her extended family as well. We will remain deeply touched and comforted by their tender care.
Visitation will be Monday, April 04, 2011 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary Riverside. Graveside service Tuesday, April 05, 2011 at 11:15 at Riverside National Cemetery (Staging area 2.)
