Marcelino Sr. was a very strong man & hard worker, he was a professional landscaper & tree trimmer by trade, he had no fear climbing the tallest trees, he very much enjoyed nature, being outdoors tending to his garden & flowers. In his younger life, he enjoyed boxing, hunting, fishing, & collecting cars. He enjoyed playing pool, bowling and loved watching his favorite baseball team the Dodgers. He took pride in wearing his Dodger cap & his black Stetson trademark fedora hat, he enjoyed music of all sorts, was always the first to dance at a party or wedding and would even dance by himself. He love to hum and sing while working, driving or at any time singing his favorite song “Indita mia”. But most of all he enjoyed being a great father & having a good time with his family. Marcelino Sr. was a humble & kind man, friendly, happy, genuine, calm, quick to laugh & give sound advice to any who asked. He could always be depended on to smile & even wave at people that he did not know. He was also known as “Marcelino Pan y Vino” & “The most Interesting Man in the World”. He was held in high esteem by those who knew him and was regarded with tremendous love and respect. In a beautiful way he deeply touched the lives of those he encountered. The last six years he was battling Alzheimer’s. During that time his daughter Cindy, Marcelino Jr., & Marta took him in & cared for him. Although, it was hard at times. He knew he could count on his kids to be with him to the end. He lived a long & truly blessed life. He leaves behind a long loving legacy of being an incredible son, a loving husband & father, a sweet grandfather & great grand father, a wonderful brother, a kind uncle & a super best friend. All will miss him dearly.

Always looked up to Tio Marcelino and Tia Angelita and loved visiting them growing up. They always made sure to include my mom and I when ever they were going to visit Tio Daniel. LOVE those ranch memories from the truck ride there to the horse rides and cook outs, he made sure we knew the importance of family. He took us with them to Tj, and just so many warm memories with them at the Streeter house. Tia would always call my mom and ask her what she was doing and the answer was always the same, "nomas aqui." She would immediately invite us over and without fail, Tio always served up his famous vanilla ice cream and cantaloupe. I remember when we were around 7 or 8, Cindy and I thought we were slick and arranged meeting up at the restroom during the meetings at the same time. Depending on where we would sit, she or I would get up first and then the other would follow but Tio caught on real quick and that was the end of that haha. But I especially remember how great, special it felt to have family at the meetings. Best feeling ever. He really was the example I needed as a child, to see a great family man, hard worker, a positive male role model not just to me but to all of us cousins and I'm proud to be his niece and will always be grateful for all my memories of him.

Im also thankful my boys got to meet him. He had them both giggling and all smiles from the moment they met, it was so heartwarming to see his playful spirit with them as that’s how I always remember him. Tio was great with us all and I'm so grateful they were able to meet their great uncle. Love our Tio Marcelino!

My heart and prayers are with you all. Love always, your prima, Priscilla
