

Marsha Norris, longtime resident of Riverside, California, died on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at her home in Corona, California, surrounded by family and friends, after a seventeen-year battle with cancer.
Born Marsha Dean Cox on November 10, 1952 in Kennett Missouri to Cecil (d) and Ovella Cox, Marsha moved to California and lived in Westminster and Huntington Beach where she graduated from Marina High School. While attending church, Marsha met Bruce Norris and the couple was married in 1970.
Marsha is survived by her beloved and devoted husband Bruce, her mother Ovella Peterson (husband Ted), and children; Greg Norris (Brenda), Steve Norris (Amy), Aaron Norris, and Sarah Gain (Joe); as well as seven grandchildren; Christopher (Torrey), Kirsten, Jonathan, Kaile, Collin, Katie, and Kelli. Marsha also leaves behind many wonderful friends and family members whose devoted acts of love and kindness will never be forgotten.
Marsha was a proud stay-at-home mom until 2002 and a certified holistic practitioner dedicated to massage therapy and the healing of others. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends, music, movies, reading, and helping others. She will be greatly missed and forever admired for her brave battle and determined spirit. She will be forever loved by those who had the great honor of knowing her, and will live in our hearts as a source of warmth and inspiration, forever.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 30th, at The Grove at 3pm, 19900 Grove Community Drive, Riverside 92508.
