I am deeply sorry to learn of Aunt Mary's passing. I was very fond of my aunt. I remember talking to her shortly before she moved to California. She told me to come visit her out west. I'll also remember her hugging and consoling me when my mother passed. It was so comforting. Now all the Franks' aunts are gone. I know she and Aunt Lillian are catching up on old times. To my cousins, keep in mind that crying is only for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Love to you all.

I am so sorry that we did not get to talk much down here but I know that we will have lots of long talks when I get there.  I really do appreciate the person that you are and I will forever treasure your love for us. I do know that you loved us dearly. 

You were a great provider as well.  I will never forget you working three jobs at one point.  When I got up to go to school, you had not gotten home yet.  In the evenings when you had gotten home, I had already gone to bed.  You always made sure that we not only had what we needed but some of the things we wanted as well. Your work ethic resignates with me to this very day.

Mom please know that I love you so very much and i always will.

Dear Grandma, words cannot express how much we miss you. I am grateful that as a child, I had the pleasure of growing up with you in my life. I have fond memories of walking to your house after school everyday. Whether or not Antoine and I were being chased by dogs, digging underground club houses in the backyard, nailing up cut-off plastic trash cans to trees so that we could play basketball, or picking vegetables out of the garden for Sunday dinner, those moments and memories I will forever cherish. There are so many things that you shared with us while we were coming up..things such as how to bake a cream cheese pound cake, how to snap green beans, and how to pick corn out of the garden. Even showing me the rules of the game while going with me to purchase my first car, these are all the things that will resonate with me forever. These are memories that I will hold near and dear, because they were done with my grandma. I can remember like it was yesterday, sitting on the front-screened porch watching the sun go down with you, Big Daddy and Nannette. I also remember sitting in your bedroom watching the Dina Shore show or the Merv Griffith show, I will always look back on those moments and smile. I will smile because I know that while you were here you brought a special love and joy to our world. Now I know that you will also be in heaven spreading that same love and joy to every Angel you touch.  Lastly, I thank God that you were able to spend time with your Great Grand Babies, and Zonya. You touched their lives like the many others you touched throughout your journey here. I am a better man because of you. I thank you for teaching me respect and love. I will always miss you and love you forever.

You were our foundations for so long and when you became ill, you passed the torch to all of us. I will cherish all of the fond memories we shared during your better years and I trust that you are watching down on us all as our guardian angel. I love you always and forever.

Dear Mrs. Franks,

We became very close over the years. I will remember watching many movies with you. I will remember the afternoon Chinese and Mexican food lunches we shared together. I will remember you sitting by the pool late in the afternoon watching the sunset. I appreciate that you thanked me for taking good care of you.

I miss you. I lost my mother at a young age, so my relationship with you means a lot to me. As we spent more time together, you became the closest thing I have had to a mother since I was six years old. I love you and know that you are in a happier place.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to send the past 14 years with you. My father, mother, sister, and I learned a lot about family history while you lived with us. You showed me the level of resilience and strength that each human being has. You showed me to appreciate each moment and how to find happiness in the now. I'm happy that dad and I had the opportunity to open Christmas gifts with you this year and celebrate your birthday in May. I'm grateful for your presence in my life, and I will see you again.
