Mary M. Turman (Morgan), 84, of Rancho Cucamonga, California, passed away January 4, 2024, with her husband Wayne by her side.

Mary was born January 6, 1939, in Omaha, Nebraska, and was adopted by Clara Mae Morgan. At 8 years old, Mary and her mom moved to Riverside, California. Mary graduated from Riverside Poly High School in 1956, and received a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of California at Riverside, followed by a Masters degree in Education from California State University at Los Angeles. She taught in public schools in Alvord and Jurupa Unified School Districts for 39 years. 

Mary married Wayne Turman in 1960, and they lived together in Riverside until relocating last year to Rancho Cucamonga to be closer to family. Mary is survived by two half-sisters: Judy Armell (Roger), of Omaha, Nebraska; and Karen Krueger (Steve), of Aurora, Colorado; and three children: Cathy Fulgenzi (Pat), of Rancho Cucamonga; Teresa Turman, of San Dimas; and Mark Turman, of Arcata. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Kim Delgado (Ernesto), Craig Fulgenzi (Karina), and Hillary Turman, as well as five great-grandchildren: Clara, Cruz, Jayden, Carson, and Caleb.

A Graveside Service  for Mary will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Cemetery, 11500 Arlington Ave., Riverside, California.
