I just became aware of Michael's passing and am quite saddened to learn of it. I worked with Michael on an intensive M&A deal in Sweden where he was always a gentleman yet quite effective, and a class act all the way around. Very sorry he is gone; I extend my belated condolences to his family.

I did not know that Michael had passed away.  I was thinking about him today and found that he had transitioned.  I worked with Michael for a short time but it was quite intense and I found that I respected and enjoyed him both personally and professionally.  The world is slightly darker without him.  I will miss his infectious smile and wit.

Looking back at your service, I could not help but be truly amazed at the community and space you have created for yourself. You are an inspiration to prosper and be a better person, not only for myself, but for those around me. Although I am deeply saddened that we did not get to see each other as much, I could not be more thankful to have had the opportunity to be in your presence when you did come down to visit my dad. I met Michael while recruiting him to Intel the first time around. His energy and enthusiasm was evident - even over the phone. Once I had the chance to meet him, I was blessed to experience his genuine spirit first hand. He was one-of-a-kind.

I met Michael when he was a student at Kellogg.  As a fellow Toigo alum, I looked forward to catching up with him at the annual Toigo events.  He was a truly great guy and I will miss him.  My prayers go out to his wife and family.

The planet feels different these days.  There is an obvious absence that we feel.  My prayers are so deeply poured 
onto Cristal and the entire Yuzon family.  Our home will miss Mike very deeply and we'll strive to pull strength from his determination and zest for life.

Michael and I met at a prior firm where we started as colleagues and became good friends. I will always remember and admire Michael for his ability to smile, stay positive and persevere regardless of what life had to offer. RIP my dear friend.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I was Michael's city attorney when he was the head of Economic Development at the Community Development Department for the City of Los Angeles.  He was, and will always be, one of my favorite clients.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.  His loss to this world is enormous.

Spoke often with Mike about economic development in LA.  Kept in touch through his moves to NY and Oregon.  Will miss his can-do spirit and sense of humor.

Michael was one of the most patient and kind individuals that you could ever hope to enter your life.  My thoughts and prayers go out to Cristal and his family during this time of mourning and celebration.

I saw the strength of the Lord in Michael. I was challenged by his faith, his confidence and his trust in God. He fought the good fight, he finished the race and he kept the faith. Now he receives his reward in the presence of Christ.

Michael was a classmate at Kellogg (class of '99). Such a wonderful man, with a huge heart. I never saw him without a smile. RIP Michael. The world has lost another gem.

It was with a heavy heartfelt sadness that I learned of my friend's passing.

I remember the first time I met Michael, he greeted me with a warm smile and hand shake.  That chance meeting at the LACRA led to a long friendship with me and my family.

It was a privilege to have known Michael so well, and I will never forget his kindness, thoughtfulness, wisdom, generosity, leadership, spirit and the faith he had in the Almighty.

Michael's light we shine forever in our hearts.

I first met Michael when he worked at the LA/CRA with my husband. He later became a co-worker of mine at the City of Riverside and later he was my classmate in graduate school at Cal State San Bernardino. Michael was very generous and would help any classmate with their studies. He often told us stories of unity and his time in the United States Marine Corps. Mike was a leader of many teams and he always inspired others to be a greater person. Mike's spirit will always be with us, and Mike will live on inside of each and everyone of us that he has touched.
