This was at one of the Church of God of Prophecy ( Diamond street) ladies event years ago.

Our Deepest Condolences and respect to the Sanchez family on the passing of Mama Pola.

She was our Grandma Virginia Solorio's friend for a lifetime and like our Grandma too.

She has been around our whole lives, we always kept her in our prayers.

We remember decades ago when the husband's on the block began passing away. It was widows, and Our Grandma Virginia & Mama Pola would sit under the shade of her big tree and enjoy a cold Budweiser in the heat of Summer.

We always knew it was going to be a great Birthday for her when Ruben would hang a big Happy Birthday sign, then soon all of you would gather to Celebrate together with music and food.

Teddy would take her to the Villegas Park 5 De Mayo and she would hang out and enjoy the music, as Lenny would make his Bomb tacos.

Decades ago, all you guys would be seen carrying a burrito that she would make you.
We used to play together in the street.. Lenny, Gugees,  his little bro, the Romero kids...now you all are Strong young men, Mama Pola must be proud of each one of you 


She was always so sharp and knew everything happening in the neighborhood.

When our Dad passed in Feb this year, before we even talked to her, she already knew he was gone.

We continue to pray for strength and peace during this difficult time.
