Mr. Noble Lee Holland
January 25, 2019
I am writing this because I know I will not be able to talk at the services this afternoon.
My cousin, Sandy and Nobles sister-in-law, LeeAnn wanted me to meet him because of our country back grounds. I was not exited about it. I hadn't even met Ray yet. The LA County Fair was coming up and they wanted to go. They said come over this weekend, Noble and Ray were going to work on the car. I said I would.
I had been talking to Sandy off and on all week. When the weekend came I was very excited to meet him and find out more about him.
It worked out that we sat around with some other friends ,David and Kathy, talking . By the time I had decided to go home, oh, we had moved the group to David's house and I needed a ride back to my car. Noble volunteered, of course. On the way he commented that he was supposed to ask me to go to the Fair with him. He said I didn't have to if I didn't want to, I said yes I wanted to. He got the biggest grin on his face. By the way he was letting me drive his Camero, WOW. When Ray found out, he was not happy. Noble wouldn't let him drive it and I was a stranger. Most of you know the rest of the story. Noble and I were married 4.months later. We have been married 47 years this last November, not always perfect but I would Love to have 47 more. He was a wonderful, caring man. He would help however he could, if you just asked, sometimes even if you didn't. I will miss him very much until we can be together again, forever.

Noble, You will be greatly missed by all who knew you. David has great memories of you growing up, going hunting with you and Ray. And we’ll never forget your being there with us for our wedding. (And thank you for following me and Jan around Vegas, making sure we weren’t out too late)
We love you and will miss you.
Love, David & Cathie Hogate
