Patricia Ann Morris

Patricia (Pat) was born to Glenn and Dorothy Stroud on September 13, 1944 in El Reno, Oklahoma. Patricia was their only child. The family moved and built a life together in Anaheim, California in 1947 when Pat was just 3 years old. She graduated from Anaheim High School in 1962 and then went on to pursue her Associates in Arts from Fullerton Junior College.

Pat met her husband, Walter G. Morris, in Anaheim, California at a Carl’s Jr. car hop service in 1963. They married on June 27, 1965 and went on to have three children, Glenn, Linda and Wendi. In 1979, Bud and Pat relocated their family to Riverside, California. They purchased a beautiful home off Mockingbird Canyon Rd where Bud could tend to his bees and Patricia found a career opportunity at the University of California, Riverside. She served UCR for 26 years as a Senior Collection Representative and retired in 2007.

Pat passed away on July 16, 2021 in an assisted living facility with her husband by her side. She was a blessing and a ray of sunshine to all that knew her. Pat was a devoted wife, loving mother and the best grandmother (Ga) anyone could ask for. She was a selfless, nurturing, generous and loving woman. She never wanted anyone to worry about her. We all know her famous words “ I’m Fine!” To know her was to know she loved her family and friends unconditionally. Pat treasured every moment she spent with them or talking to them on the phone. She was an angel here on earth now she is a Guardian Angel in Heaven. Her legs are no longer in pain so one can only imagine she is now dancing to her own beat. Her vision has been fully restored so she is sure to be painting ceramics again, knitting or crocheting and certainly will be celebrating Christmas all year long as she watches over each of us. Pat has been reunited with her loved ones that went before her that she missed so very much.

Pat is survived by her husband Walter (Bud) ~ Son Glenn and his wife Holly ~ Daughter Linda ~ Daughter Wendi and her husband Steven ~ Beautiful Granddaughters Sabrina and Jaedyn, her true pride and joy! She was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. Forever in Our Hearts.

A visitation for Patricia will be held Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92504. The funeral service will begin promptly at 7:00pm.

A graveside service will occur Friday, August 27, 2021 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Olivewood Memorial Park, 3300 Central Park, Riverside, CA 92506. Reception immediately following at the Riverside Elks Lodge, 6166 Brockton Ave, Riverside, CA 92506.
