PAUL HEATH TROTTA, M.D. August 13, 1926 May 13, 2014 Paul Trotta was born at Riverside Community Hospital to Maude and Frank P. Trotta on one of the hottest days of that year. As a Fellow, American College of Surgeons, and Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, Paul practiced at Riverside Community Hospital, Riverside County Hospital and Loma Linda University School of Medicine. Paul's interests were many. Paul also volunteered as a member of the Human Subjects Committee of the UC Riverside Foundation Board of Trustees. He enjoyed abundant travel adventures with his wife and daughters, often remarking enthusiastically afterward that "we made a memory today." Paul Heath Trotta

have a memory or condolence to add?

May 28, 2014

Dr. Trotta and his wife Marian have been a part of the Tavaglione family for as long as I can remember. I think Dr. Trotta's grandmother & my dad's grandmother, (Dom Tavaglione) were sisters. I'm not exactly sure about that. Dr. Trotta's mother Maude Trotta was very instrumental in inspiring my Aunt Jay (Tavaglione) Diederich in going to nursing school. My Aunt Jay, known as Tavy at Community Hospital, was in charge of the OR for 35 years. Every time I saw Paul and Marion they both greeted my husband and I with warm welcomes & big smiles. Dr. Trotta was a gentle loving man. How blessed we have all been to have had him touch our lives in such a very special way. He will be missed, but we will see him again. "Heaven is for Real!"
May God comfort Marian and the whole family.
With love,
Sally Tavaglione Montgomery Wieringa
