Paul was raised in Detroit with his brother David and sister Margaret. He served in World War II as a Navy Corpsman attached to the Marines and was wounded at Iwo Jima. After the war, he studies at Michigan Tech and received a BS in Chemical Engineering.He has four children with his first wife, Joan Beth McIntyre. They raised their family in southern California where Paul began his lifelong enjoyment of golf and table tennis. Paul had a successful career as an engineer, in the United States, Saudi Arabia, and Holland. He and his second wife, Audrey, loved to travel and entertain. After Audrey's death, Paul and his third wife, Ann, enjoyed a retirement full of travel and sports. Paul was active with his local golf course and became a Senior Olympian in table tennis. He was a social man who always enjoyed time with friends and neighbors.Paul is survived by his children: Paula Hemmen, Lindsey Ramos, Kevin Watts, and Joan Lubey, as well as eleven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
