With great sadness and heavy hearts, the family of Phyllis Darlene Nuttall share news of her unexpected passage to heaven on July 11, 2018. She was preceded by her husband of 59 years, William Pierre Nuttall (2006), and sisters Dora, Laura, Elsie, Betty, and Gladys. She is survived by many who loved and knew her as “Mom” “Nonie” and “Sister,” including her brother, Gerald Harp (Barbara); her two children, William Ronald Nuttall (Debbie) of Riverside CA and Marlene Annette Cedillo (Pete) of La Habra CA; eight grandchildren, Shannon (Dan), Jason (Alicia), Andrea, Emily (Erick), John (Jennifer), Bill (Lindsey), Daniel, and Robin; thirteen great-grandchildren, Tyler, Riley, Alexa, Daniel, Joseph, Emerson, Luke, Billy, Joshua, James, Aiden, Elliana and Caleb; and one great-great grandchild, Aubrey.
Born May 6, 1929 as the youngest daughter of seven children, Phyllis embraced life with a passion and joy that touched every person around her. She was a beacon of hope, courage and gentle kindness. Her love and dedication to family was boundless, and she welcomed everyone with open arms and an open heart. Her adventurous spirit took her around the world until her final journey to the Lord, and to rejoin her beloved husband again.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 11:30am at Acheson and Graham in Riverside CA. Should friends or family desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or the Los Angeles Mission.
