RIVERSIDE RAY T. RAMIREZ Age 77, lifetime resident of Riverside, passed away 12/10/2009 at Kaiser Hospital in Riverside. Ray was born 11/21/1932. He graduated from Poly High School and attended Riverside City College. He joined the U.S. Navy and served for a year and a half. He owned and operated Raymond's Discount furniture for nine years and Carlos Liquor Store for twenty-two years until he retired in 1995. Survived by wife, Connie Carlos-Ramirez, of 53 years; sons, Ray Jr. of Riverside and Steven of Redondo Beach; granddaughter, Brianna Ramirez of Menifee, who he adored. Ray was preceded in death by his brothers, Rodolfo T. and Frank T. Ramirez. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 10:00 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass at 10;30am on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 5250 Central Ave., Riverside.
