**A Gentle Man**

*In Memory of Robert Mendoza*

He walked through life with quiet grace,

A tender smile upon his face.

Not loud in word, nor boastful tone,

But in his silence, love was shown.

A father first, with steady hands,

He guided us through shifting sands—

Patricia’s strength, and Junior’s pride,

Michael’s laughter at his side.

Three grandkids knew his gentle cheer—

Felicia bright, with Frank so near,

And little Mikey, full of glee,

All safe beneath his family tree.

He loved the game, the strike, the roll,

The bowling lanes, they filled his soul.

And when the score was high or low,

His joy was still in how it’d go.

He cheered each match, each field, each play,

With humble heart, he’d spend his day.

Sports were his passion, pure and true,

Yet nothing matched his love for you.

Now silence holds the place he stood,

But echoes speak of all his good.

A quiet man, so strong and kind—

His legacy will stay behind.

For in our hearts, his voice remains,

Like softest winds or gentle rains.

We’ll carry him through all we do—

Robert Mendoza, forever true.

A memorial service for Robert will be held Friday, May 23, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92504.
