Robert David VanPatten Sr., age 81, of Riverside, California passed away on Friday June 21, 2019. Robert was born December 29, 1937 in Santa Cruz, Manila, Philippines. Grandpa Bob, as he was affectionately known, was a great man. He loved to spend time with family. He had many sayings and quotes that he would often say.
Bob severed in the United States Navy as SN / E3 and worked as machinist in the aerospace industry for 25 years.
Robert is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shelia Diane VanPatten; Son, Robert David VanPatten, Jr.; daughter in law, Robin VanPatten; son, Paul Andrew VanPatten and son, Steven VanPatten; daughter, Terry Mola. Grandchildren, Dillion, David, Sabrina, Quinten, Nicole, and Jennifer. Great grandchildren, Shyla, Tristen and Melody.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
