Roberta Joy Cooper

Roberta was born on October 13, 1935 to Robert Watson and Alta Joy Phillips in Woodward, Oklahoma.

After moving to Perris CA, she met the love of her life, RB Cooper, whom she married in 1952. Roberta and RB had 3 children, Randall, Gregory, and Deborah Cooper.

Roberta was a loving homemaker before going to work outside of the home at Rohr Aircraft in Riverside, CA, which she retired from in 1995. Roberta and RB shared a passion for the outdoors and were known to go on camping trips together and with family. She also enjoyed researching genealogy and loved spending quality time with her family, sharing traditions, holding reunions, and building lasting bonds with the many generations that followed her. Roberta was well known for her unconditional love, incredible smile, heartfelt hugs, and witty humor.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, RB Cooper and her son, Randall Cooper.

Roberta will be loved, missed, and remembered by her children, Deborah Darling and Greg Cooper, her sister Fern Harrison, 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 20th, 2023 from 11-12 pm at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, located at 7944 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92504. Funeral services will be held directly after visitation from 12-1 pm
