Roger was born on December 1, 1953 in Riverside, CA to Consuelo and Romolo Reyes. Roger was preceded in death by his Father and Mother and his Brothers Rudy, David, and Jim. He is survived by his love of 17 years Mary, his two daughters Sherry (Reyes) and Melissa (Peters) , Grandson Brodie (Marshall), his brothers: Mark (Jeanette), Steve (Rita), Bob (Jeff), his sister Margie (Richard), and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Roger genuinely loved his family and friends and had a true love for life. He was known for his sense of humor, quick wit, joyous laugh and his smile. He spent his career as a Lineman for Pacific Bell/ ATT, and loved the work and the friends he made during those 33 years. He was a true Scholar of Life. He developed a thirst for reading, and a depth of knowledge of Shakespeare, and Montaigne which, with his quick wit, he was able to share with all of us. He was constantly awed and excited by all in nature, from the tiny flowers beside the trail to the Moon and stars. His enthusiasm was infectious, and he loved sharing the joy he found in life with everyone. He poured his whole heart into everything he did and eventually became passionate about Mountain Biking and Road Riding which took him on 4,000 miles of adventures throughout California, Oregon, and Utah. He made many friends thru biking, and was a member of a great group, the Easy Riders Bike Club.
Roger honored the life he had been given, by living it to the fullest every single day.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday November 7th, 2020 at 1:30pm at Acheson and Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary - 7944 Magnolia Ave. Riverside, CA. 90504.
