

Our dear mother, Rosaura "Rosa" Livingstone, 92, of Corona, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 29, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Rosa was a pillar of strength, a caring mother, and a beloved member of the community. Rosa was the embodiment of maternal love and support, always there for her family when they needed her most.
Rosa was born June 26, 1931, in Durango, Mexico. She attended school in Mexico and continued her education in Corona, demonstrating her commitment to lifelong learning. She married Elmo Garland Livingstone, and together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and the joy of raising seven wonderful children.
As a devoted mother, Rosa was the heart of her family. Rosa's cooking was legendary, family and friends often gathered at her home to savor the delicious meals she lovingly prepared. Her home was filled with laughter, joy, and the irresistible aroma of her delicious creations. Her kitchen was not only a place of nourishment but also a hub of warmth and togetherness. Her passion for music, singing, dancing, gardening, bowling, and playing games showcased her vibrant spirit. She even enjoyed a quick game of basketball, demonstrating her active and lively nature.
As devout member of Crossroads Church and the Women's Aglow Fellowship in Corona, Rosa's faith was the cornerstone of her life. Her love for the Lord was evident in every aspect of her being, and she found joy in sharing the Word of God with everyone she met. Her unwavering faith served as a guiding light, providing strength and solace to those around her.
Rosa is survived by her loving children and their spouses: Marie and Dr. Lewis Doria , Tina Livingstone, Ernesto and Martha Livingstone, Rosalie Livingstone, Paul and Kathleen Livingstone, David and Shannon Livingstone, and Hugh Livingstone. Her legacy extends through nine grandchildren: Garland, Stacey, Julia, Scott, Marina, Ashley, Nicholas, Riley, and Chase, as well as five great-grandchildren: Caden, Cirdon, Yvanna, Christian, and Ellen. She is also survived by her sister, Hilaria Gonzalez, numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and a wide circle of friends who cherished her.
Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were touched by her kindness, generosity, and love. In this time of mourning, let us celebrate the remarkable life of Rosa and find solace in the cherished moments we shared with her. May she rest in eternal peace.
