I loved the way Grandma would smile and light up when she got to spend time with her Grand Babies 🥰❤️ Love you Grandma and miss you everyday that goes by. 

How saddened I am to hear of Aunt Ruth’s passing.  My sincere condolences to her children, grandchildren, family and  all her friends who loved her dearly.  I enjoyed seeing the pictures of her life in joyful moments. It was evident right up to the end how much she loved family and children.  I have lovely memories of her despite the lapse of time in seeing her. My mother,  her sister Bunny,  always talked of her with great love and missing her. Unfortunately she was the first of this family of 8 to pass and far too young.  You can so see the family resemblances.  David lived with us for a time when we were young. Aunt Mabel kept in touch with her. Those siblings loved each other deeply and would do anything for each other. I like to picture a beautiful reunion in heaven with Grammie, Grampie and their children Wilson, Margie, Doris, Jack, Bunny, Buster and now Ruth. Aunt Mabel thankfully has not joined them yet. What a lively conversation that will be!  I remember when Aunt Ruth came up for Grampie’s funeral. I was about 14… I said a bad word which I didn’t know was bad. Aunt Ruth took me aside and quietly asked if I knew what that word meant…which I didn’t.  She then told me and suggested it wasn’t a good word to use.. I never said it again!  Important teaching from my caring Auntie! 

Heartfelt prayers for comfort and healing for all of you.  Another reminder of the sadness that we lived far from each other that we cannot share this time of grief with you. Please know we cared and loved her. And we are grateful for memories.   My sincere sympathies to my cousins David, Debbie and Jodi. We care. 

To Aunt Ruth’s family…my cousins, 
I was sorry to hear that Aunt Ruth passed away and that Aunt Mabel, her baby sister is the last of those beautiful five girls and handsome three boys. The movie shared was a peek into her long life, her love of her family, especially babies. The family resemblance was strong throughout her years. The last time I saw her was at family cottages in NB when Jodi travelled with her. David spent time with my family in the fifties. Sorry that we have not met the rest of the family, but maybe one day.

Hello Family,
I was so saddened to hear of Aunt Ruth's passing. You have our condolences. When I spoke with her two years ago , there was a lot of reminiscing about her days at home here in Canada   and me as a very little girl. I felt she missed that contact as did we ,miss her . Not getting to know her family was difficult for her Canadan family.  May she be at Peace. You are in our prayers.

I didn't know Ruth for very long only about 5 months or so but her and I had a very deep rooted connection. I was her part time caregiver and the time we spent together was wonderful. I loved talking with her about her family and how things were like for her growing up in Canada and then moving to the US with her husband at 20. She would always brag that she was her dad's favorite child and how she would sit on his lap and brush her hair everyday. We found out her and I had alot in common through all our great talks. Her laugh was contagious and her spirit infectious. My day would instantly get better the moment I would see her. When I would go visit her at Estancia del sol we would sit and watch the clouds go by and tell each other what shapes the clouds would make. We saw everything from hearts to cats to to people and angels in those clouds. Ruth loved watching her handsome boys  officer Pete Malloy and Jim Reed  from Adam - 12. One time I said I was going to steal her boyfriends from her and she gave me her most famous line of hers. "SEE HOW YOU ARE" lol. I will never forget the wonderful times I got to spend with this AMAZING  LADY.  I loved her so much and She will forever be in my heart !! Rest in peace Ruth.
