With heavy hearts we say goodbye to our Husband, Father, Step Father, Opa, Brother, Uncle and Friend. Sam was an honest and loving man. He served his country in Vietnam as a member of the United States Army. He was honorably discharged and received two Purple Hearts for his service.
In 1973, Sam became a member of the Los Angeles City Fire Department where he served the people of Los Angeles with honor and integrity for over 34 years. He loved his firefighter Brothers and Sisters with all his heart.
Sam enjoyed playing golf, boating in Havasu, doing projects in his garage, off-roading, cruising in his jeep, and having a great time with family and friends.
Sam had a beautiful soul, a huge heart, and he was an all around loving man. We know there is a new star in the sky watching over all of us. We will miss him terribly, but he will remain in our hearts forever.
