Susan Lynne Kennedy

Susan Lynne Kennedy, 76, passed away peacefully on August 24 after a long and fulfilling life. Sue was born on March 15, 1948 in Des Moines, Iowa to Richard Pascoe and Marjorie Pascoe-Peet. When she was a year old they moved to San Diego, where her father started his medical practice. When Sue was seventeen she moved to Riverside to attend UC Riverside where she earned a teaching degree. She taught elementary school in Moreno Valley for forty years, a career she mastered and loved.

In 1972 she married Tom Kennedy. During their fifty two years of marriage they had two sons, Adam and Bryan and five grandchildren – her life’s love. Sue loved her family, teaching school, watching her sons and grandsons play sports, interior decorating, and the beach. She is survived by her husband, Tom, her children: Adam and Bryan, grandchildren: Quinn, JT, Haydon, Nixon, and Madden, Her Mother-in-Law, Phyllis Castiglione, sister, Nancy, nieces: Josette, Diane, and Sarah.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date at Acheson and Graham Mortuary in Riverside. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association. A special thank you to the beautiful angels at Sunrise Senior Living and Advantage Hospice.
