Ted Allen McNutt died in his home on November 17, 2024, in Riverside, California. Ted was born on July 12, 1936, to his parents Lloyd and Clara McNutt in Yellow Springs, Ohio. He graduated from college at Miami University in Ohio, prior to marrying his wife Ann on Halloween in 1959. They immediately departed for Ted’s 20-year career in the USAF. His love of aviation began at an early age, leading him to pursue pilot training while in college. While in the USAF he also obtained his master’s degree at USC. The family finally settled in Riverside California where Ann taught at UC Riverside. Ted assumed the presidency at Hoffman Engineering, which he ran for another 20 years. He enjoyed and served in the Riverside East Rotary and was an avid tennis player and runner. Ted is survived by his daughter Kim, son Robert, and grandson Ted. A visitation will be held on Thursday November 12th, 2024, from 9-10:30 am at Acheson and Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary. Ted’s service will be held on December 12th, also at the Garden of Prayer, 7944 Magnolia Avenue in Riverside California from 10:30-12:30. A committal service will take place at Olivewood Memorial Park, 1:30- 2:00 pm, 3300 Central Avenue, Riverside, CA. There will be a reception following the cemetery at a residence at 6846 Barkwood Road in Riverside.
