Thom was not only a family man, but was a minister by vocation. He
served in a number of churches in various capacities including youth,
college, assistant and senior pastor positions. He also worked over 30
years in construction, and construction management.
He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and accomplished musician, playing the
trumpet, mandolin, and banjo. If he found a free moment, you might find
him picking his banjo to a catchy bluegrass tune! Most of all he was a
strong man of faith, always able to turn any situation back to what mattered
most- his Savior and the promise of eternity! He now resides “on the other
side of the door,” in glory, where he eagerly awaits reunion with his loved
ones. We will miss him dearly until then.
