Born on January 25, 1942, in Southgate, California, Tom grew up in the Los Angeles area, graduated from Lynwood High School in 1959 and proudly served four years in the United States Air Force. There he developed a lifelong love of airplanes and a talent for everything mechanical.
He went on to work more than 35 years as a service technician, primarily for IBM and later with other companies in the industry.
Tom loved to fly and work on his own Staggerwing airplane, as well as restoring his Studebaker Avanti car. He also enjoyed traveling the country in his motorhome with his wife Loeta and other family members, many of those adventures shared with his longtime fellow camping club members and friends.
His life of humility and integrity, as well as service to others, was evident in both his professional and personal life, as he was often heard saying, “Let me know if I can help” or simply stepping in to assist where needed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Loeta (Savage) Webb, his daughters, Julia Burke, and her husband Doug, and Kristina Gray and her husband Tim, his adult grandchildren, Ethan and Braden Burke, and McKenna and Emerson Gray, as well as his sister, Sister Linda Webb, DMJ, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bob and Claudia Savage. He was preceded in death by his parents William Harold Webb and Patricia Mary (Allen) Webb.
A Memorial Service will be held at Acheson and Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, California on July 29, 2026 at 11:00 am followed by a Committal Service with Military Honors at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, California at 2:30 pm.
