Travis Eugene O’Neal was born on June, 10th 1978 in Downey Ca. He passed away unexpectedly on April 14th, 2016 at the age of 37. Travis was preceded in death by his father, Donald Eugene O’Neal; and is survived by his Mother, Pamela Joy O’Neal, Daughter, Sage Leanne O’Neal, and Soulmate, Tracy Jo Hertel. Travis enlisted in the Marine Corps on March 25th, 1997, and served as a Corporal until March 24th, 2001. While in the Marines, Travis earned numerus medals, and a Rifle Marksmanship Badge. He was a proud patriot, Brother, and Irishman. After his service, Travis became a dedicated employee of Fed –Ex for 13 years. He worked nights on the dock at SBO, and developed lasting friendships with many of his co-workers. Travis happily spent the majority of his free time with Tracy, and friends he considered family. It was the simple things in life that made him happy. Some of the things Travis enjoyed most were desert trips, restoring his father’s jeep (Okie), cranked up country music, and a cooler full of ice cold beer. He recently seemed to have life figured out, and he definitely enjoyed every day he had. He was constantly joking around, living in his own world, with his own rules. Take it or leave it, he was who he was, and all who really knew him loved him for that. Travis was a man of few words, so when he did speak you made sure to listen. The only thing predictable about Travis was his smile, it was constant. He will be deeply missed and loved for the unique man he was. God rest his beautiful patriotic soul. Taken from our lives but never from our hearts.
