VERA R. MARTINEZ Age 90, of Riverside, CA, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2013. Vera, wife of Felix, is survived by her five brothers, as well as three children; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Vera, "mom" and "grandma" to all who knew her, was born in Arizona and spent most of her life in the Arlington area of Riverside. She was an avid reader who loved cooking and opening her home to all. Arrangements are through Acheson and Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 16th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary service to follow. A memorial service will take place at the Garden of Prayer Mortuary on Thursday, October 17th at 10:00 a.m., followed by a graveside service at Olivewood Memorial Park in Riverside.
